I chose these words not because I do not know what they mean, but because I frequently confuse the spelling of the two. I guess I will try to remember descent by the horror movie, "The Descent." The "s" in it stands for the colorful word I would use if I found myself in that situation!!
That is a HILARIOUS way to remember the spelling of that word, Michele, ha ha. Love it! And yes, this is a word pair that people mix up all the time. I've definitely seen this one before. :-)
